- Hey, Tommi Bergman, you mumbled somthing about PSU Question on 25-Jan-96
- 12:33:35?
- TB> Hi ya all

- TB> I'm buying accelerator card for my A1200 and I was wondering how much
- TB> the PSU can take. I have seagate 3,5" 420mb HD in it. So do I have to
- TB> buy a new PSU or can it handle the extra load?
-
- Standard answer - It Depends. They vary, some could run a
- 1200/040/16mb/HD/df1: and not break into a sweat, others cry when you whisper
- "HardDrive". You have a couple of options if it doesn't go, get a A500 one,
- find a rare upgraded one (I have a 37 watt one one sitting in my wardrobe),
- or buy/build a 200W one.
